Daily Objective:

Students will analyze experimental data to determine the concentration of a solution.

Bellwork:

A student uses a spectrophotometer to measure the molar absorptivity of a solution of 0.100 M iron (III) nitrate .  They pour the solution in to a 1.15 cm wide cuvette and set the machine at a wavelength of 425 nm.  The absorbance of the solution is measured to be 0.77.  What is the molar absorptivity of iron (III) nitrate.  Make sure to include units with your answer.
