Daily Objective:

Students will be able to describe the equilibrium present in a reaction, and predict the amounts of reactants and products present at equilibrium.

Bellwork:

A student mixes 100.0 mL of 2.00 M Ce(NO3)3 with 100.0 mL of 3.00 M KIO3.  Calculate the equilibrium concentrations of Ce+3 and IO3- in this solution.  The Ksp of Ce(IO3)3 is known to be 3.2 x 10-10.
