Daily Objective:

Students will be able to predict the products of reactions in aqueous solution.

Bellwork:

The drawings below represent aqueous solutions.  Solution A is 2.00 L of 2.00 M copper (II) nitrate and solution B is 2.00 L of 3.00 M potassium hydroxide.


a) Draw a picture of the solution made by mixing solutions A and B together.  Be as accurate with your picture as possible based on the diagrams shown above.

b) Determine the molarity of all ions left in solution and the mass of any solid formed.
